Aluminum in general is recyclable, can withstand high heat, and is resistant to rust. Consider the properties of aluminum and take care to properly secure this item when hanging it outdoors in a covered or uncovered area. It can be hung outdoors but at your own risk. The wood block hanger is not weatherproof.
