A glossy or matte 2×2.25” die-cut laminated vinyl sticker featuring a colorful octopus taking communion. It’s a small oil painting on canvas that has been photographed and turned into a sticker. The weave of the canvas is visible on the sticker.
This sticker is part of my “Modern Icons” art series. Each piece represents the courage to expose and explore the subject of anxiety. This series is heavily influenced by my work as a therapist and my travels through the churches and art museums of Italy. I invite viewers to be amused, curious, and contemplative in the presence of the simple subject matter with an elusive message.
