Rebecca Waechter Art
Rebecca Waechter is an award-winning artist whose work has been sold nationally and internationally. Most notably, her art traveled to the International Space Station aboard SpaceX Crew 4 and appeared on the FOX television series Bob’s Burgers.
Working full-time as a professional artist, Rebecca ships original artwork and collector gifts worldwide while continuing to build a strong exhibition presence in Charleston, South Carolina and beyond.
Her education in both art and professional counseling uniquely shapes her creative voice. With a BA in Painting & Drawing and a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling (Summa Cum Laude), her work bridges emotional depth with technical discipline.
Inspired by her husband and the aviation community, she creates powerful artwork honoring military and civilian pilots. A celebration of courage, dedication, and achievement. Through her “Anxiety Renaissance” series, she also uses art to explore mental health themes, advocating for healing and awareness.
Rebecca believes art is not simply decorative, it is transformative.
Rebecca’s work explores three central themes: The strength and discipline of aviation culture, the complexity of anxiety and mental health, and the beauty of the Charleston, South Carolina area.
